Turnaround Time TOP
Turnaround time depends on whether a proof is involved, production time based on designer, where the order is shipping from and to, and the shipping method (i.e., ground, overnight or second day air).
If you choose to view a proof, you can expect it to be ready within 2-3 days. Your order will be processed immediately without the selection of a proof and/or if a proof is not offered. After we receive approval of the proof, your order will be processed. Please see the table below for more specific details on turnaround time.

All orders will be shipped via UPS. Shipping charges will apply depending on your order total. You may upgrade your shipping options to receive your order more quickly. Production time will remain the same. If you need to receive your order sooner, please contact us for information about RUSH orders. Most of our designers offer this option for an additional fee. Packages ordered from different designers will arrive in separate shipments.
Free Shipping TOP
Busy Bee Paperie may offer special shipping promotions throughout the year. Free shipping will be offered if your order meets the minimum total guidelines. All items will be shipped via UPS Ground Shipping. Free shipping charges do not apply to any items purchased though our Sweet Pea Online Store.

If you prefer to place your order via phone vs. ordering online, please contact us by email with the details of your order. We will then contact you by phone to confirm the details of your order.
Payment and Sales Tax TOP
Busy Bee Paperie conveniently accepts all major credit cards as well as PayPal. Residents of Indiana will be charged sales tax (7%).

Busy Bee Paperie’s shopping cart is tested and certified daily to pass the “McAfee Secure” Security Scan. All online orders are encrypted and sent using a secure server with SSL technology to prevent information from being intercepted. PayPal helps protect your credit card information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is never shared with Busy Bee Paperie.

Samples are available upon request from most of our designers. Please contact us with the item number and designer you would like to see. Charges may apply depending on the designer.
Wording Ideas TOP
Busy Bee Paperie offers assistance with wording, font choices, and/or ink colors. Please contact us by email if you need assistance. We want you to be completely satisfied with your order and will be able to suggest just the right wording to suit your needs.
Pre-Orders of Birth Announcements TOP
At Busy Bee Paperie, we understand that the birth of a child is an extremely busy time in your life. This is why we accept pre-orders for birth announcements. Simply leave the personalization field blank when ordering and make a note in the comment section that this is a pre-order. Once your baby is born, you can email us with the baby’s birth statistics.
Pre-Shipment of Envelopes TOP
Most of our designers offer this service. An additional fee will be applied to your total depending on the designer. Please contact us for rate information. Please select the pre-shipment of envelopes option when completing your order.
Photo Submissions TOP
Photo requirements depend on the designer. Please submit all photos to photos@busybeepaperie.com by digital file. The quality of your overall image will be based on the quality of the image we receive. Please do not crop photos or change colors before submission. A request can be made to the designer if you would like your photo cropped or changed to black and white from color. Some photos may be automatically cropped depending on the size of the announcement/invitation selected.
Allison Casey Paper accepts digital files at 300 DPI or higher. A complimentary proof is provided.
Boatman Geller accepts JPEG or TIF images with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. The dimensions of the photo should not be smaller than 5.25 wide by 3.5 high (1575 x 1050 pixels). Boatman Geller does not offer cropping, picture rotation, zooming or color correction.
Inspired Verses accepts digital images as well as scanned images; however, digital files will provide the best quality on the finished product.
Sweet Pea Designs accepts high resolution digital images. A $6 proof is required for all orders.
Whitney English accepts JPEG files at 300 DPI. Whitney English cannot guarantee the quality of photos less than 300 DPI. Please do not alter the photo before submission. A complimentary proof is provided.
Stacy Claire Boyd accepts JPEG and TIF files with a minimum resolution of 150 DPI. Photos taken with digital cameras when set on the highest quality setting will usually suffice. A $15 proof is required for all orders.
Photo Copyright TOP
By submitting your photo, you verify that you either own the image or have permission from the copyright holder to reproduce and distribute the image, and that reproduction of the image will not violate the rights of any person. Busy Bee Paperie and/or its designers will not be held legally liable for photo-related issues. Busy Bee Paperie reserves the right to reject any photo for quality or copyright concerns.
Canceling an Order TOP
In order to keep our turnaround time as short as possible, Busy Bee Paperie will process an order within 24 hours after it is received. Please contact us immediately is you should need to cancel an order. Once an order has been processed, it cannot be canceled.
Return Policy TOP
If an error is made by the designer, your order will be reprinted and shipped as soon as possible at no additional charge. Orders with customer errors will be reprinted at a discounted rate and processed as quickly as possible. Shipping charges will apply. Because each designer has a different return policy, please contact us should an error occur to discuss your options. Busy Bee Paperie will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied with your order.
